4 Point Review: The Drama

The Drama is a film built around a couple dealing with a reveal about one of them a week before their wedding and how they deal with it. The reveal itself is the crux of how you will view the film, but the strong writing and bold choices make it a strong candidate for being one this year's hidden gems for me. I couldn't look away the whole time.

Homebound is a 2025 Hindi film based on a 2020 New York Times article by Basharat Peer. It is fully deserving of being shortlisted for the Best International Film Oscar with its story of two marginalized best friends fighting for dignity in a society that won't give it to them.
