// February is for Da Games
February is PACKED this year with AAA releases hitting store shelves what feels like just about every week. So I thought, why not add a few more games to your to-play list.
Here are some indies that caught my eye for the month of February. Keep in mind that most of these games have demos available, so you can check them out for yourself!
// Stories from Sol: The Gun Dog
Release Date: February 28
This game was also featured in my Most Anticipated Games of 2025 list. Stories from Sol: The Gun Dog is a retro inspired point-and-click adventure game. It’s vintage anime aesthetic looks awesome, and the pixel art is beautifully done.
// Rift of the NecroDancer
Release Date: February 5
The next entry into the NecroDancer series returns this month! We may be working on a review for this one as I write this, so stay tuned.
// Urban Myth Dissolution Center
Release Date: February 12
I haven’t seen too much buzz around this one, but it looks incredibly cool. You work at the Urban Myth Dissolution Center and deal with all kinds of oddities and curses that pop up.
The game has the vibe of a supernatural version of Snatcher.
// Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
Release Date: February 18
This is probably the largest game on this list. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage comes from Don’t Nod, developers of the Life is Strange series and Vampyr. While I’ve never played those, the retro-inspired musical twist has got me keeping an eye on this one.
That’s the third retro-inspired game on this list. Huh.
// Keep Driving
Release Date: February 6
So this may shock you, but Keep Driving is also a retro-inspired game. I swear I didn’t intend for this to happen when I was picking games for the list.
You find yourself the proud owner of a brand-new (to you anyway) car in the early 2000’s. Keep Driving is pitched as a management RPG where you travel across the country, maintaining a vehicle and an inventory, as you come across challenges and different characters.
There are multiple roads you can travel and multiple endings to explore!
Vampyr is a must play game, it fucks hard
